About Us

Hand in Hands was regulated in September 2011 by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide 'Care in your home' and Supported Living Services to individuals with Learning Disabilities.

Michelle Dudderidge and Pupurayi Foto are responsible for the services provided and both Registered Managers.

The Registered Managers work alongside an experienced team of staff to ensure the requirements of the 'Essential Standards of Quality and Safety', and 'Right support, right care, right culture', which everyone should be able to expect when they receive care and support, are fully met.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) completed an inspection of Hand in Hands in May 2022.

The inspection asked five key questions, known as the ‘Key Lines of Enquiry’ (KLoE);

  • Is the service safe?
  • Is the service caring?
  • Is the service effective?
  • Is the service responsive? and
  • Is the service well-led?

The inspection was very positive and an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ was awarded.

The Local Authority Monitoring Team also completed an inspection of Hand in Hands in May 2022. The inspection used the PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management) monitoring tool in line with Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in England (ADASS) requirements.

Our report generated an overall score of ‘excellent’ in line with East of England requirements.

We were very pleased with both inspection reports which we feel are a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of the staff team towards the individuals we support.
